I'm Jay, a UK and destination wedding and event photographer, operating out of the picturesque Scarborough, North Yorkshire. Capturing the magic of special moments and turning them into timeless memories is my passion. As a proud father of one, I understand the importance of cherishing every precious moment, which is why I approach each event with dedication and creativity.
Beyond photography, I am an avid motor sport enthusiast, with a particular love for Formula 1. I also enjoy spending quality time with my family, especially taking our beloved cockerpoo, Bella, on long walks through the beautiful Yorkshire countryside. Music is another significant part of my life; I find joy in playing the guitar and exploring new melodies. Whether it's behind the lens or
enjoying my hobbies, I bring enthusiasm and a heartfelt touch to everything I do.
My approach
My approach is thoughtful, supportive and intentionally unobtrusive. I believe your wedding day should feel natural and unrushed, so I help you build a timeline that protects your experience while still creating space for beautiful imagery. I’ll guide when needed, step back when it matters, and often use moments you’re already naturally away from guests to create portraits — so you’re never missing your own celebration.
More than just documenting the day, I’m there to support you. Whether that’s calming nerves, organising guests efficiently, adjusting to shifting weather, or quietly reading the room to know when you might need five minutes together — I’m present in a way that feels steady and reassuring. Not every moment needs a camera in it. Some just need protecting.
